Resolution 2007-3 was approved by The City Council of Worland, The Town Council of Ten Sleep and The Commissioners of Washakie County.  Please take a moment to read the resolution in its entirety, and then look over the frequently asked questions (FAQ's). 

Voters will be asked to vote on the
penny tax in the Primary election held August 19th, 2007. 

Past
penny projects have included the Worland Community Center Complex, The Ten Sleep Senior Center and the new Worland Senior Center.

Common Cents is a general purpose one-cent sales tax proposed to fund improvement projects throughout Washakie County, including projects in The City of Worland, and the Town of Ten Sleep.

The penny provides quality of life projects, making Washakie County a better place to live,work and visit. 

Remember To Vote August 19th
The penny spreads the cost of capital projects, such as libraries, senior centers, community centers, and other improvements among all those who use them including seasonal visitors and tourists.
